Dave and Brian put on a WAB game at the above event. Dave writes: As you know we were the only other invited club attending “Slayerday, From The Ashes” on Sunday. An early start followed by bacon butties supplied from our good friends at Rushden, followed by some good quality gaming action, almost exclusively supplied by Rushden Phoenix, but with a fine display of WAB from ourselves.
There were a sprinkling of traders, including Spirit Games, Wargames Workshop, GW, Terrain Warehouse, TR Models. A tournament, and painting competition was also staged.
Our game consisted of 3500pt Republican Rome Vs Carthage, and was well recieved by the public, as the only historical game in an otherwise fantasy/sf venue.
