“Romanes Eunt Dommus”

What did the Romans ever do for us?…..well gave a very good game against the Celts at last nights club meeting using Warhammer Ancient Battles V2.0!

Roman Auxilia launch javelins at the Barbarian horde, supported by a cohort of Legionnaries

Roman Artillery, flanked by Auxilia Cavalry, new units to my Collection, face off against Celtic Noble Cav and a unit of Charriots, as Celtic slingers run up in support. Romans are all Warlord miniatures, Celts are Navigator Minis from Magister Militum.

Meanwhile Steve and Pete run a large 20mm WW2 game in the snow, using the Peter Guilder rules they have modified and expanded over the years

German Nashorn battle line prepares to mete out long range punishment to the Soviet hordes

But the soviets have air superiority and advance under the support of a Tupolev bomber,a recent addition to Peter’s Collection.

Meanwhile Steve gets some practice games in, for this years Fantasy Tournament, Acturati 2010

As does Wayne, our local GW store manager, and good friend and member of the club, with a new member he brought along this evening

AND Terry and Tom….yes WHFB is alive and kicking at the club!

As is Round Base!! Ultra Marines Vs Ultra Marines, hmmm must be a training exercise for when my Orks turn up!

Remember we always welcome new members to the club, as long as you are 18 or over, you too can take part in epic battles in miniature every week!

    David

Great shots as always but in the snow battlefield it is the Nashorn troop that meets the Soviets, not the Hummell.
